“Munnaroo” is the name of the original candy that was popular in the early 1900s and was so popular that it was renamed in honor of the candy’s inventor, John Muunnar.
“My munnaroos are so sweet and so delicious and so rich,” Muunnan said, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The recipe calls for the dough to be made into an edible munn-aroo doughnut.
But Muunnaran is not the only person who has used his doughnut recipe to make chocolate-covered cookies.
He was the inventor of the doughnut-like “Chocolate” munnies.
Munnar also made “Pumpkin Churro” chocolate chip cookies.
