Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro, you’ll need to do your own research and prepare the right materials and methods.
Here are our top tips for making the perfect batch of homemade chocolate.
Prepare a base chocolate base.
Chocolate bases are typically made up of a variety of ingredients, from flour to cocoa to butter.
In fact, you may even need to make a whole batch of chocolate to test your chocolate’s consistency.
Here’s how to do it: Place all of the ingredients in a bowl, pour the flour and cocoa into it, then cover with water.
Allow the mixture to sit in the refrigerator for an hour, then stir the mixture.
Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.3.
Mix all of your ingredients, including the flour, cocoa, butter, and water, together in a small bowl.4.
Place the dough in a greased baking dish, and let it rise for 30 minutes, until it’s about two inches thick.
When it’s doubled in size, it’s ready to use.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave at high heat for about 20 seconds.6.
Spread it out onto a clean surface and cut into small squares, about the size of your thumb.
When you’re ready to make it, spread the chocolate on a baking sheet and place in the oven for about 25 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
You can also sprinkle the chocolate with a bit of sea salt, if you’d like.
Once the chocolate is ready, take it out of the oven and let cool.8.
Pour the melted chocolate over the base of your desired chocolaty.9.
Bake the chocolaters for about 15 minutes.10.
While the chocohaters are baking, cut up the chocolate and add it to a bowl and whisk together until smooth.
You don’t want to overmix the chocohats, so make sure the chocolate does not run.11.
Enjoy the delicious, fresh chocolate!
