NEW YORK — “We’re making this for you, we’re making you a special chocolate chip cookies,” said Weird Al Yankiewicz, who’s known as Al, as he shared his latest recipe.
Yankwicz has been crafting handmade chocolate chip-chip cookie recipes for over 30 years.
Yanks cookies are usually made in his studio in Brooklyn.
He shares his homemade chocolate chip dough recipe on his YouTube channel, Weird Al’s Al Yanks Cookie YouTube channel and his website.
He is also a creator of the popular YouTube channel Al Yanked Chocolate Chip Cookie.

“I love chocolate chip chips,” he said.
“But it’s not for everybody.
You’re going to need a lot of cream, and the cheesecake is the most complicated cheesecake ever.
So I put a lot more ingredients in this cheesecake than I normally do.
I wanted to make it easier to follow.”
Yankie says you’ll need to use a minimum of 1/2 cup of butter, 1 cup of cream and a 1/4 cup of sugar.
“If you have a really sweet tooth, you can skip the cream,” he says.
“This cheesecake will not be too sweet.”
A homemade cheesecake crust is perfect for serving to a special occasion.
“My favorite part of making these is baking the crust,” he added.
“And the cake itself.
I don’t have to make the cake!
It’s all done by hand.”
Yanks cookie recipe for a cheesecake: 1/3 cup melted butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/8 cup cocoa powder, 1 1/16 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 1/1 ounces cream cheese, 1 tablespoon almond butter, and 1 teaspoon almond extract.
The crust will have a crusty texture when you bake.
“Then the cheesecakes are all ready to go,” he adds.
“The cheesecake, which is a double batch, is baked separately and then refrigerated until the last minute, which I do on the day of the cookie baking.
That way, it can be refrigerated longer.”
Yanking cookie recipe with chocolate chips: 1 1 /2 cup unsalted butter, 4 cups powdered powdered sugar and 1/5 cup cocoa, 1 large egg, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons flour.
Add the melted butter and mix until creamy.
The dough should be about 1 1 1 or 2 1 / 2 inches thick.
Roll out the dough, and cut into 12 pieces.
Brush a lightly oiled baking sheet with baking spray and bake the cheeses for 15 minutes.
While the cheese is baking, prepare the cream cheese filling.
“In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar with the egg, vanilla, flour, milk and salt until smooth,” Yankys YouTube recipe states.
“Add the cream of tartar and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
Then add the egg mixture and whisk to combine.
You’ll have about a quarter of a cup of whipped cream in there, and that’s about it,” he explained.
“Once the cheesuetyake is baked and the cream filling is cooling on the sheet, you’ll have a cake.”
YANKIES recipe is a bit different than most recipes, but it’s still quite simple.
“So the chocolate chips are the most important part of the cheeso,” he noted.
“They’re the last thing you need.
They’ll set in the cheeseball the way you want.
They’re not that sweet, but they’ll melt right on the cheeseweed and the chocolate chip.”
This recipe is also easy to follow and is a great treat for those who like a little something extra.
You can freeze this recipe for later.
If you don’t like to bake the crust, you could also just add some whipped cream and nuts.
Yanking Chocolate Chip Cookies, 1.5 cups at a time, can be made in advance and stored for up to a week.
If the dough is too sticky to work with, you may want to double the recipe.
The cookies will also last for several days.
