Chocolate bar prices have spiked dramatically over the past few years, with many bars becoming a more expensive proposition to purchase.
The price of a bar from a major chocolate company is $7.29.
That’s up from $5.86 in 2018.
For the past several years, the price has jumped even more dramatically, reaching $8.11 in 2017, and more recently $9.99 in 2018, according to research firm IHS.
However, those prices have been driven up by a surge in demand for chocolate bars, especially as the chocolate industry continues to grow and businesses have increased their focus on more premium, premium quality chocolate bars.
The prices of premium quality bars have also increased by 20% in 2018 over 2017, according in the latest research.
The highest premium bar costs $6.79, according the research.
